Do I need technical skills to use MakersEngine?
No. MakersEngine is designed for non-technical users. You'll set up your store through guided steps with no coding required.
Can I switch paths later (downloads vs hosted store)?
Yes. Your account supports both options. You can change your approach anytime without losing your product selections or settings.
What vendors are supported?
We currently support JDS Industries and there nearly 70,000+ line of products, with more integrations coming soon. We are actively working on several and are taking feedback on any others makers are interested in us onboarding. We expect to have 15-20 up and running by end of 1st quarter.
What happens if pricing or catalogs change?
Your store stays in sync automatically. When vendor pricing updates, your margins adjust based on the rules you've set.
Do I need a JDS account to integrate?
You don’t need a JDS account to explore or prepare product data.
However, to sell JDS products, access live inventory, pricing, and place orders, a JDS account is required.
If you don’t already have one, we can connect you with a JDS representative to get set up.
Can I add or keep all my own products?
Yes. MakersEngine is designed to work alongside your existing products.
You can keep and add your own custom products at any time, and selectively integrate products from MakersEngine’s growing network of vendors and suppliers — all within the same store.
